- 450g boneless pork chops, pounded evenly and cut into large pieces
Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 125ml oil
- 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped red chillies
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1 green capsicum, diced (optional)
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

- In a small bowl, mix together the five spice, garlic granules, salt and white pepper. Use to season the pork. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Coat the pork pieces in egg, then dip into cornflour. Set on a plate and chill for 10 minutes.
- Heat a large frying pan with 125ml oil over high heat. Pan-fry the pork until they are crisp, 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until done, 2-3 minutes. Set aside, leaving 2 teaspoons oil in the pan.
- Heat the pan over high heat and stir-fry the chillies and garlic until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. Stir in the onion and salt, cook until soft, 2-3 minutes. Add the green capsicum and pepper, stir until the mixture is dry. Add the pork, seasoned salt and mix well. Serve.
